ESA appeal

Hi just wounded what happens next . Last year I had a assessment for ESA . They found me fit for work I appealed and had my appeal 2 weeks ago . They have gone in my favour and awarded me 24 points . January this year my ESA appeal rate stopped and had to go on UC with no ESA allowance and been put for second assessment . Last year I was on standard ESA untill the assessment then on JSA for 12 weeks before Ben put back on appeal rate ESA any advise would be great

The benefits system is a nightmare to understand and I don't have the knowledge to answer your question but I am sure other members can give you some advice.

Hello @derekb. Have you had an assessment since you've been on Universal Credit? If so, do you know what the outcome for that was? Your ESA tribunal decision should transition to UC with you, but if you've had another assessment since the first one (that the tribunal was for), then the tribunal decision will only run until the new decision was made.

I have filled in the questionnaire they send out and sent it back .as of yet I have not been to a assessment on UC in tribunal letter states they should not reassess for 24 months from date of letter
