I’m saying ‘Hi’ to make myself communicate

The last few months have been hard on a lot of people.
Lockdown has perversely given me freedom to shut out the world.
Lockdown has perversely given me freedom to shut out the world.
I know this is not good for me, but on another level it has removed some anxiety and stress.
My crappy lungs are not enjoying the lockdown but then again they never enjoy themselves anyway.
This is just a post to say Hi.
I am going to give myself a pat on the back now ! ?

Hi @sazza
yes a pat on the back to you ?
welcome...
and what you say resonates with me ..
I isolate a lot, and lockdown helped me do it more...
now trying to gradually do things, it’s so difficult at timesGreat to come along here and realise we are not alone

hi @sazza welcome.
Not a terrible malady compared to many others but when I was a child I had really bad hay fever. It was so bad I couldn’t go outside in the summer on a sunny day or even a dull one. When it rained though, I was so happy because not only could I stay in but I knew every other child would be indoors too so that I was missing nothing. I loved rainy days then and still do sometimes.1 -
Thank you all for the welcome.?0

Hi @sazza - it's good to 'meet' you. There are a lot of people for whom the lockdown has been difficult; for others such as myself with rarely going out, life has not been much different; for others such as yourself, life may have been just that bit easier causing less stress, etc.All I can say is that sometimes it's also good to 'talk' even if it's in an online community. I think it helps many of us here, where we can chat on Scope, which is a safe, friendly & supportive place.1

Hi @sazza,
Welcome to the community and thank you for joining us. Thank you for sharing how hard lockdown has been for you, it is difficult for different people for lots of different reasons and sometimes having someone to talk can help you to deal with the difficulties you are facing. Good for you for giving yourself a pat on the back, you deserve too. Please if you have any questions you would like to ask or subject you would like to talk about then do share, there are many lovely people on the community and we are all here to support one another. Thank you.

@Chloe_Scope, I’m doing ok today.
I have been making ‘art’ - finger painting on my phone with free apps.
I’m still not going out (was in ‘that’ group of shielding).
I have also ‘manicured’ my nails.
It’s always a good day when I am busy.
Hope your day is going well.0 -
And 'hi' to you as well @sazza. Well done on taking the plunge - you're very welcome here.1
