back in 1994 at an international symposium held in Canada, Dyspraxia was renamed as Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) which the name used by international research since then.
Dyspraxia is the genetic form of these types of issues, and Apraxia is the acquired form acquired from some form of brain injury, Stroke or part of dementia.
I have a DCD group on Facebook for those who want to discuss these issues, mainly adults who have DCD.
