Hi guys
I'm not used to this been shut off from the world for a very long time. I've lost my confidence I don't go out much especially not now this virus is around which as made me more scared than ever I won't even open my windows I'm just shut of in big 2bed house living in bedroom. People stare at me wen they see my arm and hand which I cant use anymore.  My arm had 5 operations due to my ex twisting and breaking it the other way.  And my fingers are just mangled. Due to knife wound doctor sent me on my way from a+e without putting nerves and tendons bk.i I suffer from severe anxiety and depression tryd committing suicide numerous times but im still here thankfully.  I've learnt now after my last episode of suicide Removed by moderator due to explicit description. Theres a reason god is keeping me alive and I'm not going to punish myself anymore I'll just wait and see when its PROPERLY my time to go .Ive gone very slow and very forgetful. My friend looks after me when he passes after work. I'm really hoping you guys will except me I like having a laugh and a joke but not to crazy my head  gets all lost and blank.
REALLY hope everyone is well considering the awful FRIGHTENING circumstances.
Take care and godbless

Fallenangel74, Hi, I'm really sorry to hear of what you have been through.
There are some lovely people here at Scope, who will accept you as you are and will be happy to welcome you.
You are absolutely right, in spite of what's happening in the world right now, we can learn to reach out to each other, become less fearful, more confident and discover the positive things about life. I, too, I'm glad that you are still here and have reached out to people.

Have you had counselling and is your GP helpful?
I hope that things will begin to improve for you.
Please remember that you deserve to be loved and be happy, as we all do. Most of all it is important to love and value ourselves, as well as each other.
    Take care.

Hello @Fallenangel74 and welcome to our online community  :)

It's lovely to have you here and I can see you have been through a really rough time.  I'm glad the worst is behind you now, and lets hope from here it's onwards and upwards.

A lot of our members have experienced anxiety around socialising post-lockdown too so you really aren't alone in how you feel.

If you want some company and to take part in our chats feel free to get stuck in.  The virtual coffee lounge is a nice starting point and we have lots of different games and discussion going on.

How are you today?  Do you have much planned?
