I guess it's designed for B road fun rather than motorway munching!  I can't change to 6th in my diesel until I've passed 50mph, at 70 it's still below 2000rpm!  Does mean a lot of gearchanges on B roads though!

True! Though, on the B roads I find in in 3rd-4th most of the time even though it sometimes wants me to change up hehehe
