I am an adult dyslexic that struggles when disorientated or stressed. I don't like software that is not intuitive.

I tried to look up an old post about “listening books” but could not open the old discussion. Is this because I am new or just dim?

Hello @Peharr - & welcome to the community. I tried using the search function for 'listening books,' & altho I could see a post, when I clicked on it, it just brought me back to the 'home' page for the online community. So you're not alone if that's what you tried!
I'll ask a member of the Scope team about this for you. :)

Thanks @chiarieds . I do get annoyed with myself. I have a stubborn streak which means I refuse to give in but then r we nd up wasting time.
    Tip to share:
IOS app Libby seems a good app for Listening Books.
You can download 2 books at a time. On loan for 14 days. £20 a year. https://www.listening-books.org.uk/. (not on commission!). Pete

Hi @Ross_Scope - would you advise here please, as both the poster & myself are having difficulty reading a post he hoped to.....I also looked through the Guest Blogs section (under August 2018), but couldn't find it there either, which was a bit of a mystery!

Welcome to the community @Peharr, sorry to hear you're struggling with this. Rest assured, you're doing nothing wrong.

    Thanks for the tag @chiarieds

So, last week the community changed it's domain name from community.scope.org.uk to forum.scope.org.uk and it largely went down okay. However, it caused a glitch of sorts in the search function where you will be redirected to the community homepage when trying to click on a discussion.

For those who don't know, the search function is in the top right of the page on a laptop.

We are trying to fix this as soon as possible so I'm sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime but I can guarantee you it's a platform error and you are doing everything correctly.
