I was put forward in October last year then had my first assessment in May 2022 then my first psychology interview in June 2020 then my first group session first week in August and now had all 3 I have been put forward for the team to assessment and I should hear from them 6 to 8 weeks then a 12 week waiting list for the implant so all been well by Christmas I should be seeing some improvement

sooooo long @Martin2019 i never realised it was that intense - in that case i hope the cocktail of jabs works for me.

I had the jabs last year and unfortunately no joy from them at all I also suffer massive spazams too and again the high level of drugs I was on made me suicidal so had to reduce them and I now have the spazams back yep it is a really long drawn-out time frame but they don't give it to everyone you have to meet a strict guideline to be put forward for it.

Stuntman1965 said:Hi Sara, the process of appointments is very slow you have a suitability appt then go for interview with the consultant then the pain clinic nurse specialist and a psychological therapist. Don't be put off by all this I had mine done in Leeds n I live in North lincs, the benefits outweigh the negatives but it did take almost a year to finally get done mainly due to the covid situation, hope this helps
