Hi @berry123 - PIP is about functional problems you have with certain activities of daily living &/mobility; it's not based on any diagnoses. Therefore it will depend on how his disabilities impact on these.
PIP is not means based, & will not affect his ESA. Most people do have an assessment, currently done by phone. Hope this helps your friend. :)

    HI,

Living in temporary accomodation will make no difference to a PIP application.

I'm sorry to hear that as well @berry123. I can imagine it must be difficult. Life certainly does go on, but make sure you take time to let yourself grieve too.

That must be hard, especially as you spoke so often @berry123, but I'm sure you must have lots of lovely memories of chatting together. Do you have other friends you can lean on?

Sorry to hear about your friend whom you tried to help so much @berry123 - your PIP assessment will still go ahead most likely by phone despite the lockdown.

I'm glad you have loads of friends, and friends that will be able to understand what you're going through as they knew him too @berry123. I'm sure your kids must help you to get through the hard times too. Are you able to keep in touch with your friends okay during lockdowns?
