The last thing I bought online was a 'Tennis Podcast' sweater to wear at Wimbledon next week if it rains or gets cold in the evening, it should be arriving tomorrow, hopefully!

@WelshBlue, I don't know whether to hug or slap you

@Poppy' ... out of interest what vape tank did you get ? I currently use RTA's (rebuildable coils and wicks) but am looking for a tank with replacable coils for the car.  There's so many that it's nice to get feedback from real people.  Not interested in clouds, more something that gives good flavour.  I did have a VooPoo tank but the coils kept leaking when the liquid is warm.  Also got an Innokinn Zlide tank but find the flavour very muted no matter which ohm coil I use.  Thanks if you read this

Sorry, i only just seen your comment. I have a vast amount of knowledge with vaping, vape styles and types. I also use an RTA tank and make my own coils but my tank set up is DTL and not MTL. I switched about 2 years ago to DTL and was using pre-made coils to start with but the juice was just burning the coil far too quick and was costing me a fortune. For this reason i did some research and bought my first RTA about 18 months ago.

I do buy the RTA rebuildable coils because it's easier and with this set up my coils can easily last about 4 months. I buy the cotton and just change the cotton and burn the coil to clean it every 24 hours or so. Therefore i spend very little on this set up.

I did own a voopoo tank too before i changed to RTA and yes i also found it leaked. Same with tanks that have bottom air flow, they leak so bad. I always stay away from those now because top air flow is so much better, with much better flavour and zero leaking.

The tank i recently bought is fairly new to the market but it's a cloud chucker but the flavour is insane! It beats my previous tank hands down. I have the dual coil set up and and it's currently reading as 0.15ohm.

Tried disposables but it's not for me, the nicotine is far too strong for me because i only use 3mg now.

Is your set up MTL or DTL? do you use 50/50 liquid or 70/30? I will be able to give more advice once i know the answer to this. Edit with your Innokin tank is it MTL you use?

    Hi Poppy

    I've currently got:

OXVA Arbiter Solo ... Using Tri-Core Staggered Fused Claptons 4 Wrap by Reggie's Coils @ .35ohm.  Set Up to DTL - MTL gunks the coil up too quickly.  Great flavour but cloudy as and sets the smoke alarm off frequently.  Not good at 2 am ...

HellVape Destiny ... using SS316 coils @.80 ohm wrapped by myself ... MTL.  Leaky because of the bottom airflow (or my poor wicking ?)  Flavour is good but not the best continually.  Regardless of coil

Innokin ARES ... using KA1 @.45 ohm wrapped by myself.  MTL ...Goodish flavour but could be better.  Regardless of coil.

Plus the Innokin Zlide using MTL @.80 ohms.  Disappointing flavour after a couple of days

Juice:  Shortfills of 70/30 with nic salts added (Angry Duck Vimto at the moment ...) or my own blends of 50/50 using Inawera concentrates and nic shots from Vapable

I've been vaping for 2 years and using RTAs for the past 12 months but yet to find a coil and cotton combination  that I'm happy with all round.  Using cotton pads and some of the known brand laces etc

Any recommendations there for cotton would be appreciated.  Essentially I'm looking for a tank to fit on a small mod that isn't too big and heavy, and can keep in your hand when driving etc.  I don't mind it being a premade coil system but RTA preferable ... just looking for big flavour without too big a cloud ... high VG clouds the windows up too much.  DTL

There's so much choice my indecisiveness kicks in

@life ... I've tried disposables and the flavour is great, they just get very sickly with the extra ethyl maltol sweetener they seem to fill them with.  Also the mg of nicotine is too high for me too.  Thanks

@JessieJ ... Gawd I hope you don't curse me ... the hug will be preferable to the slap  :)

Sorry to interrupt the vape stuff which is all double dutch to me... :D

I bought a rubber bung for my AeroPress.

Really pleased with the company, the AeroPress is only £40 so they could easily tell you to buy another one but they are more conscientious than that and allow you to just buy the part you need. 👍 for them.

Is the AeroPress any good ?  I'm a coffee lover and have been trying to abstain for a few months but fancy a decent coffee maker for a good brew once a day

That's great customer service.  Fair play

@WelshBlue all just my opinion as I know people have different tastes but...

I think makes far better coffee than the cheaper pod machines - Tassimo / Nespresso etc.

I have never tried any of the expensive machines like DeLonghi, bean to cup machines etc. so can't comment on it vs. those.

Compared to coffee we have out and about I'd say it's in the top quarter. Better than most coffee we get served after a meal in restaurant. Better than the big chains like Starbucks and Costa. But sometimes we get a really nice cup from an independent shop that beats it. :)

£39.99 is a lot for such a simple plastic device but I think compared to other coffee machines it's an absolute bargain. Based on the number of filters I have got through I have made 1,500 coffees with mine before it needed a new rubber bung!

It's also easy to use and wash. The one thing it does require is a bit of arm strength to push it down, just in case that is a problem.

Hiya @WelshBlue, no curse, you can have a hug! ;) Order arrived & all was good, tops fit a treat, which was a surprise. I did have a problem with one thing, it didn't work. No quibble money back via credit or PP, don't bother returning it. Very good & happy! Oh & my sister has just ordered a load of stuff after me saying about it. :D Erm...and I ordered a replacement & er...another top! :#:D

@WelshBlue yes the disposable vapes are very strong and very addictive. I find them more addictive than cigarettes (when I used to smoke them).

Very impressed with temu. I bought sunglasses which look really good and I thought the posters were just paper ones put there of some strong quality material.

@life and @JessieJ ... phew  :p  The no quibble money back is a great thing, I had a mobile phone holder that I fixed and got the money back.  There's some great deals at times through notifications ... my wife has just had £30 into her PayPal as a thank you for spending £30 ... not sure how that works

Some good stuff there but I'm sure some tat too

@66Mustang ... definitely got the AeroPress on my list thanks- I don't need anything too fancy.  My friend has an all singing coffee maker plumbed in ... very underwhelming IMO.  What coffee do you use ?

The best cup of coffee I have is 110 miles away in Merthyr Tydfil in Traygo (biggest store I've ever seen.  Huge)

I sit in the cafe when my wife goes around ... positively buzzing on our annual pilgrimage  :)

@WelshBlue I buy beans and put them in a grinder myself, but I use Lavazza coffee, the one in the silver and red bag, and also Taylor's. They are both available as ground as well as beans. :) I tried all sorts and those are just personally my favourite apart from a few that are just a treat because of the price!!
