Hi, I was told on the 6/11/2020 that I have been awarded LCWRA. I was just wondering exactly when these payments would start. I first started handing in fit notes on 28/09/2020 and my assessment period is every 16th-15th of every month.

It says on the letter 3 months after handing in fit notes and its been a while now since.

Thank you in advance ☺

    HI,

The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods and then it's paid from the 4th month of your claim. So your waiting period should be as follows.

16th September - 15th October doesn't count because evidence wasn't sent until the middle of the AP.
    16th Oct - 15th Nov = 1 month
    16th Nov - 15th Dec = 2 months
    16th Dec - 15th January = 3 months

LCWRA starts from 16th Jan - 15th Feb so the extra  £341 is paid from this months payment and every month after that.

    Hope this helps.

I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
