Hi to all
The audiologist phoned me yesterday and he said is sending me new hearing aids out this week and I also told him about my ear pain and swelling on my left ear and pain on my face
I have also contacted my gp in case I have a hearing infection as also had a runny ear.
So hopefully this will get sorted out.

Hi Tori-Scope
Yes hopefully they will arrive this week.
I have antibiotics for ear infections now.
So hopefully they will work ok.

Hi @Sparklebright63 - it sounds like progress is being made as far as getting new hearing aids goes. I hope the antibiotics will help your ear infection settle down soon. Have you managed to do any more walking?0

I have Memieres syndrome ....it has not reared it ugly head for over a year , so much so the I was going to get another car ....but... in the last week or two , I was stressed about the vaccine I was getting last week , after the vaccine I started getting very light headed ...and sitting with my dinner , I arose to get a glass of irn bru.....and the dizziness hit me full blast , the room was rolling, the other sure sign on menieres that when you have an attack the sweat runs of me . I was so dizzy I could not stand, my wife thought it was a stroke I was having, I crawled to the toilet and was very very sick, the world spinning like s top , I climbed the stairs to bed on my all fours ( even that was a struggle), I lay there for the rest of the day with my eyes closed...after a few hours the dizziness went ....but still very lightheaded, I lay ther until morning , my head still spinning ( but not as bad ) I got downstairs and my dizziness fired up again , my wife phone my doc , ( a doctor I have never met after my own doctor retired ) he out me on ant vertigo tablets and they helped today and I am feeling a bit better .
I upped the young ones do not play their earphones to loud or they will be bothered with menieres and tinnitus and deafness as well....
Please take care and may your God go with you??0 -

I'm glad you feel somewhat better @Sparklebright63 Did that ear infection clear up?1

Hi @Sparklebright63....I hope you have those hearing aids and that you infection has cleared . It sounds like you might have Menieres syndrome. When I get hit with a " drop attack" it's because of the vertigo ....but my left leg does not work either, I cannot stand and it feels very much like a stroke ( although i know it's not a stroke ) . I have no hearing in my right ear at all , so the audio specialist advised bluetooth hearing aids ....which makes things a wee bit safer ( like crossing the road )...and sound coming towards me from my right is transferred to my left hearing aid , maybe a car approaching . Please be extra aware on roads Sparklebright63 .?0

Hi Seanchi
Yes my infection has cleared and I feel better than I did before I had infection.
And my hearing aids are better than my previous ones.
