How was your week with b/f xx0 -
It was a good week nice to have him around and he liked coming home to a nice meal each night
I get a nice balance as he works away a lot get my own space as well0 -
Ahh thats good - how you feeling now @janer1967 x0
-
Still getting the spasms about 5 min apart since 4am so very restless and unsettled I'm afraid
Pain killers dont help. I take pregablin for nerve pain but not touching it see how it goes will ring gp if no better
How are you @SueHeath is your son still with you0 -
Sorry to hear that @janer1967 i'm just thinking if any health shop things will help, i will have a think. Is it like restless leg.
Yep son's still here, they seem to be communicating and he doesn't seem angry so fingers crossed. We are trying not to interfere, but thats a hard one for me ha ha.
He had football after work last night, but he will be home for tea tonight, see what he shares with us xx0 -

It's not really like restless legs it's a very sharp nerve pain and muscle spasm my leg jerks
But it's strange as it is a sort of phantom pain you get with amputation it feels like it is in the missing part of my leg but it's my stump that spasms
I will be OK it's one of the things you just have to put up with I've had it 5 years now but not usually lasting for this long usually goes away after about an hour
Glad your son seems to be doing OK @SueHeath but don't spoil him too much he won't want to go home
Thanks @66Mustang hope you have good day0 -
Afternoon all, hope it settles down for you @janer1967
I've gone a week now with no chocolate cakes or junk.
Don't miss it just headaches. Still trying low carb, even found a potatoe that is low carb, I need to buy. I need that in my life.0 -
Well done @Sandy_123 wish i was as good as you ha ha , Head aches should go soon but make sure your not going to low with carbs you need some - potatoe is it a sweet potatoe xxx0
-
No its like a normal potatoe sainsbury sell them, called Vivaldi, known as a skinny potatoe, creamer then normal spuds but low carb.
but a load of low carb potatoe seeds have been planted in uk from Canada called carisma. Think its going to be a big thing soon. I
I havnt ate any spuds for a week, but I'm going to buy those.0 -
Wow i think i will have a look at them - let me know if you try one @Sandy_123 xx0
-
Yeah can only see them in sainsburys which is out the way for me, I've just done a shop which is coming tomorrow, but that's with acado 20 pound off a 60 shop 1st time customer, Free delivery, they don't stock them.0
-
They sound great @Sandy_123 have to let us know if you try them
Never used acado might give them a try as well0 -
@janer1967 the 20 pound off a 60 shop is a good deal. It worked out that I had 36 items for 40 and brands in there like cleaning stuff. Also Free delivery and they supply bags0
-
Hopefully that will be the case @Teddybear12Does he have painkillers as well?
I just ordered some nice cheeses, they will arrive on Thursday0 -
@Teddybear12 oh, I guess that must be a good thing if he doesn’t need them. I will send him some cheese virtually. Our dog loves cheese as well!1
-
Afternoon all! Been busy for the last few days and aching from my last Hydrotherapy last week. My muscles have majorly contracted since they were stretched. I do not have CP but after these contractions, I have every sympathy for those who deal with them day in, day out.0
-
I love cheese @66Mustang Thats a shame with your little dog @Teddybear12 xx
Afternoon All hope every one else is well and had the day you wanted x0 -
Bless @Siwheels73 you suffered last week if i remember - but as you know you probably don't stop feeling the pain till just before your next session. hopefully it will be worth it.0
-
@SueHeath I know things get worse before they get better, and I am looking at the end result, which SHOULD be better. If not, then it's not for want of trying0
