Morning, how's your day going so far?

Good afternoon everyone.
The grumpy relative has just invited themselves over for a coffee.
I am taking refuge in my bedroom.
I feel like I need to go down and say hello but I can't face them at the moment.
I will listen carefully and if they sound OK I might go down.0 -
@66Mustang I feel today is quite cold where I am, is it where you are? If so then I think it'll be best to take the car for a small drive. Wouldn't want it sitting for too long without ticking it over0

@Hannah_Scope he he he I like your way of thinking.2

Just got back been shopping after breakfast, don't need anything now for Xmas got last few bits I needed.1
-
Sounds like she is heading off now
Going to head off just see them for 2 mins

Afternoon, everyone hope you're doing well today.
That's good @66Mustang! Glad it went okay.
Good stuff @Sandy_123, I'm nearly there on presents but haven't thought much about food or snacks yet.

It is cold I've popped heating on. 9 days to go @Rosie_Scope0
-
I'm boiling as I've been wearing my xmas jumper and hat all day.0
-
I'm always hot because I take tablets that heat me up as a side effect0
-
Not long is it, @Sandy_123?! I better get a wriggle on the wrapping!0
-
Today has been mad for deliveries. My bedroom overlooks a courtyard surrounded by houses and there is a different delivery company van pulling in every 15 minutes.
I just collected my final Christmas delivery so have nothing left to get! :)_2 -
@66Mustang That was my house after Black Friday. But all my Neighbours know I work from home, so they all just knock on our door. Turned into a warehouse for the day0

@Hannah_Scope
You should charge, maybe half what Amazon Locker charges would be competitive
Sounds like a nice neighbourhood.
I like it when neighbours help each other out like that.

Oh I don't mind taking them in. We still have a few here hidden for my neighbours kids. It's the least we can do, when they help with letting us use their drive for extra parking when my brother is home or helping with heavy duty work, clearing the entry way
We have a street carol service next week!1 -
That's nice
We have an 80 year old lady next to us who always takes our bins in and out at the same time as hers and we always try to "beat" her to it because we don't like the idea of her having to do it...we always fail though0 -
@66Mustang Oh bless her! She must be sneaky!0

@Beaver79 it's a nightmare with meds all the time. I had to write on e consult for extra meds as I wasn't given enough for two months and then request earlier scripts. Then I was told to put request forms in and then they referred me to a pharmacy call, instead of just upping it. A right rigmarole. I don't know why, whoever does the repeats, can't see its not enough in the first place.
Mine hopefully is sorted now for next time.1 -
Hope everyone has a nice evening.
I am off for a while, I have been in front of the screen since 11am so need a break for my eyes.
I will try to see you all later on in the evening hopefully, if not tomorrow.
Have a good evening0 -
