    Thanks everyone and sorry for going on earlier things just got to much for me.
    The manager from the company that’s doing the work came out and apologised.
    He sd  he will need to sit with housing manager to discuss it as it’s a bigger job than housing let them think it was.
    So it’s put off till after the holidays now.
    Another sleepless night for nothing 🙄

    I don't want to tar all tradesmen with the same brush as some are really good.

    But my Dad works with tradesmen every day and it's common they will find a reason not to do jobs. Some even say they are overqualified for a certain job so they refuse to do it, e.g. a plumber refusing to do a simple job like unblock a toilet, as if they are too good for it. I believe many charge a call out fee so they get some money just for going to have a look.

    @66Mustang
    Hi I hope your doing good today.

    Aww were do I start lol this has
    been ongoing for over 2 years.
    Im in a Housing Association house.
    Your right a lot off them pass the buck.

    I have had well over 15-20 different workmen sent out to do all kinds off work and nothing that helped the problem 😠
    A manager came out after the workman refused to do it, he’s apologised and now it’s going to get done after the holidays supposedly.

    YEs pass the buck is a good way of putting it. I believe the tradesman still gets a call out fee from the HA though @lou67 easy money for them. Oh wow that's a long time ... sorry to hear that, glad someone finally took some accountability and is trying to get it sorted for you.

    That's a shame @Ada, have you seen the film before? I hadn't seen it before today.

    @Ada It's an old black and white film a little bit like Christmas Carol where a man sees what it would be like if he didn't exist. It ends with the quote "Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings"  :)

    I've seen My 600lb life before, it just goes to show how complicated people are and how difficult addiction is to beat.

    Yes I enjoyed my walk thanks, I’ve been taking a lot off headache’s on and off, but I’m sure stress brings them on. I’m off to take paracetamol.

    Im glad you managed to get a walk and didn’t get wet.
    Thats a shame about the pains in your legs, I think it’s maybe time to get your painkillers increased.I know you don’t want to do that, but you can’t suffer the way you do. 😢

    @Sandy_123
    Oh that’s good your all finished with your shopping to, it’s a relief when it’s done, now you can relax.
