    Good Morning all.

@Amberpearl are you no longer in contract with Plusnet, if not then BT should take care of your switch and cancel on your behalf no worries. They are the same company after all but all major broadband providers have signed up to this scheme (with the exception of Virgin Media which is a tad more complicated).

@Amberpearl you’ll have to work out how much the plans will cost you in total over the term of 24 months or however long they are and decide whether it’s worth getting the voucher. However it’s worth remembering that ultimately the voucher is not really free, it has to be paid for and that will likely be by you, the customer.

They said voucher was free. All want a 24 month contract now.. Seems a long time   I can't afford to pay much

What I am saying is the voucher has to be paid for by someone, which is likely to be via higher costs to the customer i.e. if they didn't give you a voucher they could afford to charge you less per month.

By all means, though, if you do happen to find two deals that are the same price but one comes with a voucher and one doesn't, go for the one that gives you a voucher!

Have you been able to speak to anyone from plusnet today @Amberpearl? Or have they left any messages on the answerphone?

And can you tell me, is there a friend or relative nearby who could help you with this?

The 20.00 plan I am on with bt won't change until I stop getting universal credit and you you get unlimited calls on the landline  and unlimited broadband  others give a low price then it goes up bt stays the same I have had it for threw years now same as gas snd electric you can get lower payments and with counciol tax
