@Teddybear12 Praying all is okay today, please do let us know how it goes.1

Morning @janer1967 hope you get on with smart metre you will have to let me know how it goes, i keep wondering about it.
Weather rubbish here, so far today, so it looks like i will be pottering around the house.
I weighed myself this morning and i have already lost 4lb in weight, so i am convinced it was the side affects of one of my meds, which, after slowly withdrawing of them, caused one of my extra problems. xx0 -
Your not to late for this party @66Mustang it's an all dayer ha ha - i am of the same mind - they havn't got the staff to look after the patients Mustang, i have spoke to him this morning he's in very good spirits, had a great nights sleep and pain is more manageable now, we are now calling him the bionic man ha ha.
Hope all's good in your part of the world x0 -
@SueHeath it's weird as I have a relative who works in NHS maintenance/buildings department. This department seemingly has money coming out of their ears. E.g. they pay contractors £40,000 for a new fence to be put up that should cost less than £10,000 (contractors see the NHS and think easy money as NHS will just pay no questions asked). So they can afford to spend £30,000 above the going rate on a fence but they don't have the money to employ nurses or do operations.
Sorry this thread isn't meant to be for ranting
I'm glad your BiL had a good nights sleep and seems relatively settled.
All is good here but I am home alone till about 4pm today so just need to keep myself occupied so my obsessive thoughts don't get too bad.0 -
@SueHeath i already have smart meter for electric but they are connecting the gas to it today he just been was due at 12 so bit early
Saves having to send readings and you can see if your using more or less than daily rate or if lots appliances on hoe it affects usage
Lots of people get a bit obsessed with the info but I just leave my unit turned the other way so I can't see it lol2 -

You've got this and try not to put your obsessive thoughts at the front of your brain, put them back in the box - what you doing to keep yourself busy xx0 -
@janer1967 I know what you mean about getting obsessed with it. We have a smart meter and we go round switching stuff off to try and keep it as low as possible!! My Dad did once say he wonders how much electric the smart meter itself uses0

I'm not even dressed yet @66Mustang been to busy chatting ha ha - just pottering round the house as it's a bit wet here today, i spent a lot of time in my garden yesterday, so i had better walk around the house today with my feather duster and look busy ha ha - i'm off now, catch up with you all later, keep an eye on the number game as well if you get bored ha ha - have a good day xx0

Morning all. You have all been busy already. Good luck on appointments. Glad your brother in law is recovering sue. Good luck amberpearl with all the medical stuff.
@66Mustang you have all us, enjoy your shower
I had to chase my hoover parcel as it was suppose to be here on Monday, was with royal mail originally, but had responce this morning that it is now coming amazon today. So I presume they forgot.0 -
Afternoon @Sandy_123 hope you get your delivery sorted soon0
-
Good afternoon all
So glad you finally got some results and action now @Amberpearl sounds like they going to get to the bottom of this finally, i have had a few camera's down my throat, all i will say is if you are given the option to have the sedative, to take it, they might need to know if you have someone at home with you because, if you do have the sedatives you need someone to take you home from the hospital and look after you for a few hours.
Hope your not board or fed up yet @66Mustang ha ha xx0 -
Got my delivery Henry hoover happy to have a new nose. Just the bins to sort ready for bin men tomorrow0
-

-
I don't want the procedure
Sounds to envasive and I'm. Scared
I'm. Having more blood tests next Friday on my liver. Full blood count0 -
We just found £30 on our dog walk.
What to do...?
If we asked people nearby if they'd lost £30 of course they'd say yes.
Too small amount to take to the police station.
We decided to buy a McDonald's for £10 and split the other £20. Free beers for me next time I go to the shop.
I am going to make myself feel better by saying the area we found it is a popular area for small-time drug dealers, so the money was from someone who didn't deserve it, rather than a little child's pocket money...0 -
Enjoy @66Mustang, little surprises are the best kind.2
