    I think I've blown the kettle up, switched it on heard a bang and tripped the sockets. Don't know if it was wet underneath. Not switched it back on to see

    Me too @Ada better safe than sorry. I’d be straight on Amazon if not since I’d struggle not having a cuppa :D

    Yeah its only about 2 months old,  I'm thinking I might of got the bottom wet by filling it up at the tap. I will try again in a sec, I wiped bottom with tea towel In case. I'll use the wooden broom to switch plug on  :) if it goes again I'll just order new 1 from amazon
    Just out of interest how do u know if it is fuse

    @Sandy_123 if the socket works for another appliance then it could be the fuse

    Ok I tryed kettle with broom and nothing, looked at fuse and its a 10a I think most of mine are 13a which  i thought was standard in all appliances
    I've boiled water in a pan for a cuppa

                       A 13amp is fine,   A kettle is 3000w divided by  230 volts leave you with 13 amps.

    Oh will a 13a be ok then it's says 10a on the plug. I might just try a 13a to see if kettle is gone b4 I order another 1, wish me luck I'll be back...hopefully

    Ohh @Ada i really do feel for you darling, not good when you have so much problem with sleeping, have you always suffered like this darling,  :'( 
    That's the sort of thing i'd do @Sandy_123 with the kettle ha ha and hubby will say what have you done now !!!!! ha ha - it's annoying tho and i don't know about you but my coffee never tastes the same with the water boiled in a saucepan, hope the kettle comes today.
    Rain has stopped play for me today was going to an Autumn Fair thing at a garden centre today, i haven't checked but i can imagine it will be cancelled with all the rain we've had.

    Morning rained most the night and still heavy rain, supposed to stop about 12, roads starting to flood, including my back garden. Not been shipped yet kettle. Was like waiting for ever for pan to boil this morning

    Oh my god we have a leakkkkkk i hope it can be patched, i'm stressing about it and hubby saying "can't do anything about it yet" towel and bucket !!!!!!
    Yep we suffer the cause for our gardens @Teddybear12 but it makes us feel so good about it at the time x

    Nothing much @Teddybear12 bad weather for me today so going to chill out. Got to go to the opticians tomorrow anyway so I’ll be busy with that so the rest will probably do me some good :D How about yourself?

    Do you know where the leak is coming from. Why do these things always happen at weekend? Hope you manage to fix it. It did make me feel good when I had done the garden. Take care. Do you have any welly's?

    Roads by me and surrounding areas are flooded, everyone putting posts up on fb.  It's eased off abit now so should disappear
