Good afternoon all, sounds like a good walk today @66Mustang good to get out when you can.
No visitors today, we havn't seen any of the grand children this weekend, but we do realise they all have Christmas shopping etc., to do. busy time of the year when you work full time as well.
I've just been pottering around today, nothing much full wash basket so ready to fill the drum ha ha.
Hope your all well and keeping warm x1 -
Something quite funny just happened while we were driving to the shop just now. A Rolls Royce SUV (£400,000) overtook us and we said both "hmm it's all right" then a Mustang (£40,000) overtook us and we both said "WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Funny how the car that's 1/10th the price seemed cooler0 -

@66Mustang I have the best daughter, she's always spoiling me. Even tho I protest for her not to waste her money.ive told her to call it a early bday present. I think you get back what you put in as a mom1
-
We've done next to nothing today,my partner was going to fit our new letterbox but 'the holes are in the wrong place' so I'm going to have to ask the carpenter to do it.
We didn't do any shopping because by the time we got to the shops they were about to close and we couldn't get any diesel on the way home because every single pump was 'not in use'.
Roll on Monday.

Went out for lunch wasn't great got sat right at end of pub everyone had to move their chairs to let us through with wheelchair and we had booked
Only 5 starters to pick from they had run out of 2 of them and 3 others were squid which I like big didn't want it today so no starter bf had to wait over an hour for his
Carvery no beef , cauliflower cheese or stuffung left just cabbage and parsnips and brocoli0 -
Gravy was thin and it all went cold very quick
Wish I had cooked.
Just watched last f1 of season now cuppa and catch up on last night's TV
Seems like most of you had cosy days at home just what Sundays are for especially now it getting so cold1 -
Omg @janer1967 hope you complained about both. I would of been very annoyed at carvary running out like that.
@ada that's awful you havnt got the antibiotics till wed, not great is it0 -
Sunday dinner seems to be a very hit and miss affair when you eat out;they're always running out of stuff or forgetting things.
Sometimes it's roast potatoes, sometimes it's the vegetarian option, other times there's no custard to go on your apple pie.
