Morning @Sandy_123 and everyone else! Aww, how did they find putting their names on their Xmas stockings?
That sounds like such a great morning for the kiddies. Hope you managed to do your laundry - albeit, a little less exciting1 -
It's quiet in here today.
Everyone must be busy having fun.1 -
I'm just having a hot toddy to help with my cold.
Good excuse to drink whisky during the day.
I have tried all sorts, paracetamol, flu remedies etc, but the hot toddy works best for my throat.1 -
Thank you @Teddybear12
I hope you're having a good day today.
Did you get any Christmas cards written yet?1 -
SueHeath said:Morning @Amberpearl yep bit damp here today, had a fair bit of rain in the night as well.
Have you thought about getting any help of the Doctor if your not coping very well with the flushes. x
That's a shame @durhamjaide2001 are you very disappointed ?1 -
Good afternoon all you lovely's, we went for a nice little walk today, one of our old haunts not far from house, nice river walk i took it nice and slow and we really enjoyed it, not as far as we used to walk but still managed a steady 1 and half miles,
Hope every one is well and enjoyed your day so far xx1 -
Well done @SueHeath, that sounds like a nice walk.
We have a roast dinner soon with 6 people in total, I'm quite nervous. My Granny will be there though she is in a bit of a better mood at the moment and also my brother and his girlfriend.
I hope it goes OK.1 -
Natural yogurt is very good for sore throats @66Mustang ha ha but probably not as nice as your hot tody
Hopefully your appointment is in readiness for your opp @Teddybear12 fingers crossed for you xx2 -
Hi @Ada how you doing today ?x
That sounds nice @66Mustang you'l be okay and hopefully everyone will be in good spirits x2 -
Good evening all
Been food shopping for change took ages had nice big breakfast yummy won't need anything else today
Sounds like you did well @SueHeath with your walk
Ant excuse for a whisky @66Mustang only joking2 -
Evening all been busy here with family, now so quiet1
-
@Ada I saw your post about hospital appts and just wanted to say that here you can book your own hospital transport you don't have to do it through your gp so it maybe same in Wales
You call transport services and they ask you series of questions and will tell you if your eligible
Try and look on Google for phone number of transport services that covers your area1 -
You have to book it in advance big they only book appts within the next 7 days0
-
Good Morning All It's MONDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY xx1
-
Hope your all well and warm enough.
Very foggy here today, no plans here at the moment.
Hope the shopping went well @janer1967 x1 -
Good morning all
@SueHeath good day hun the shopping took nearly all afternoon and still ended up with what I usually buy online so let's say I won't be doing it again
Going to have rest day today need to get some sleep
Hotel booked for Sat night we going to Peterborough bit nervous as its a test leaving toby at home1 -
Morning everyone, happy Monday. Got a few things that need doing this morning so I’ll see you all this afternoon2
-
we've not done Pererborough @janer1967 you'l have to tell us all about it.
I know what your saying bless with leaving Toby, just remember your not a million miles away and you have mobile phones, bet you will be on the phone every five mins ha ha, Toby does sound like a sensable lad. I know exactly how you will be feeling and i bet some of the others will as well.
How did you get on with the amount of people in the Store yesterday ?? xx1 -
We will only be about 1.5 hours away and my brother on hand about 30 mins away if needed . You have to let them grow up and yes he is sensible but daft with it lol 😂
The supermarket wasn't very busy so that bit was OK just not being able to see puts a whole new meaning to browsing
The hotel we booked is in between 2 shopping arcades and restaurants and pub so don't think we will be straying far from that area1 -
No doubt you'l have a nice meal and a little drink @janer1967 it'l be a nice change of scenery for you.
That should help ease your worry with brother close by, as you say it's got to be done sooner or later, i bet Toby will be fine first time as he will want to prove to you he can do it.
Bless you at least it wasn't to many people Janer, xx1
