@poppy123456 I've just checked the price for gas  I've had it on since about  8am, 10 hours, 6 pound it's cost so far that's because my house is a cold house

It does cost more while you heat your house to the temperature you want. It's only when it reaches that temperature that you start to save. I can move my thermostat to different rooms and usually keep it in the living room because it's warner.
My house is cold too and Tuesday for 11 hours it cost me £5.30. For me, it still costs the same keeping it on that long against turning it off during the day.
May i ask how long you were having it on before and how much it cost?

I put it on a few hours in morning and a few hours in evening but I'm unsure of what it cost  I dont think 6 pound for 11 hours is bad going to be honest. Plus I've dried the washing on radiators

I think that’s well worth it to be warm. I didn’t want to comment because I don’t know your financial situation.
For me keeping it on long term to stop my health getting worse is well worth the cost and not only that it’s the same as having it on for less twice a day.
I’m in the middle of another experiment. Once it’s completed and I have the data from my smart meter I’ll let you know all the details. It will be early tomorrow evening.

Good Morning all and a happy Friday.

@durhamjaide2001 It‘s my sister’s birthday tomorrow and she wants to go out for an Italian in the evening and Sunday I am going to double check everything is sorted for Christmas Day. It’s mad how close we are now, this year has flown by! Have you got any plans for today and this weekend too?

Today I am chilling out, was busy yesterday and managed to book a super deal holiday for 12th January £250 for a week to Lanzarote all inclusive (obviously including flights)! Most definitely a price glitch I could not refuse, going with my brother.

Looks like you have some very exciting stuff coming up. What are you going to get at the Itialian and when are you going on holiday? Today I'm getting a facial and a foot massage then tomorrow I'm going food shopping.

I’m not 100% sure yet but I have fancied a pizza, I don’t want to go overboard because I always end up having leftovers I bring home. It’s on the 12th January too so a few weeks off but the coldness at the moment is really affecting me (I have an illness which makes my hands and legs go stiff in the cold).

Have a nice day, sounds great. Speak when you get back as I’m going to log off here in a few minutes just whilst I make sure everything is tidy.

    Morning @durhamjaide2001,
morning @bg844 sounds like a good bargain hope it all pans out, something nice to look forward to after Christmas as well. Have a nice time with your sister.
Shopping for us today - supposed to be going to a surprise 40th party to morrow night, with the family, not sure if we can make it tho as husband full of cold, might just go to wish him all the best. Sunday were meeting up with two of my sisters and their hubby's, for a carvary and exchange Christmas presents.
    Have you any plans @durhamjaide2001 ? x
