Good morning everyone.
@janer1967 @SueHeath our surgery is the same, my parents once called 450 times (no that is not a typo) to get through and of course by that time all the appointments are gone.
The only difference with ours is that they, even if you are able, don't even allow you turn up in person without calling first.
Absolutely terrible system that is failing to fulfil its purpose, no wonder A&E is overrun.

Good morning @66Mustang.
Our surgery's a disgrace,during lockdown the Welsh government asked all surgeries in Wales to let people order repeat prescriptions over the phone but ours decided it was more convenient to have people email them their life story instead.2 -
@Teigr
Was yours bad before lockdown? I notice you say it's been like it for years but then I suppose lockdown is almost 3 years ago now.
I guess prescriptions are one area where our system is is good. When our prescriptions expire and a medicine review is needed (usually after 6 months), there obviously aren't any appointments available, so they automatically renew.
That said even that is perhaps a bit dangerous as some people might be getting medicines they no longer need.1 -
Still at it got through once only to be cut off while number 2 in queue0
-
@janer1967
Thats awful you still cant get through, I hope you can get something sorted soon.
