Finally sorted what a farce gp rang my brother not me he I'd down as next of kin . I eventually got back to them to sort it .

Gp rang asked me what antibiotics I wanted omg said it wasn't infected I said it was as it stinks and oozing . Then she wanted me to see nurse in next village tomorrow which I said was impossible.  So referred to district nurse 

They called and coming out tomorrow and toby fetched my tablets

God @janer1967 a very stressful day. See what district nurse says tomorrow at least Toby can fetch your tablets. Grab a coffee and a cig Nightmare

Thanks everybody and as said above, you are all so caring and supportive.

GPs are really bad at the moment, I watched the news earlier and heard a man wrongly got told he had a viral infection by his GP via a telephone appointment and sadly got rushed in to hospital and died 2 days later after being diagnosed with some rare form of ear infection. So sad.

@Sandy_123 yes sorted with tablets now and nurse coming out to swab and dress it tomorrow so feeling more positive
