I know we not had the best start to the new year and not seen each other think the engagement has jinxed us 

Good bit of news toby been condition accepted for college course he wanted just got to achieve grades at gcse now

Bless thanks @66Mustang i know how hard it is to become self employed and start your own business, hubby been self employed most of his working life.
Don't believe this the first tree man just text me saying sorry about not turning up Saturday, so i now have two people coming tomorrow ha ha is it me not being patient ????

Just an idea Mustang get your brother to see if there is a local Garden group on facebook we have lots of trades on ours x

He doesn't actually do social media as he finds it got too toxic but maybe if he just used it for professional reasons it would be OK.

Yep i only got family on my f/b @66Mustang but i am a member of a few groups so its handy x

@SueHeath I find if you have a tradesperson you trust it's best to stick with them and keep the trust going. I think relationship is everything. Before I had my Motability car I had a mechanic for my old cars and once found a £20 note that wasn't mine so asked if he had lost it. He was pleased with the honesty and after that he did lots of jobs at a cheaper price for us and saved a lot more than £20!!!

Yep i know exactly what you mean @66Mustang and i love how honest that was of you, i'm not good with having trades men in my home so being comfortable with a person is a big thing for me. x

Happens to me all  the time @SueHeath;someone doesn't turn up when they say they will,I get my hair off and arrange for someone else to come out and the first guy phones to tell me his van broke down and he's on his way.

Just annoys me when they don't let you know at the time, it's polite to in my mind ha ha x

Bf been admitted to hospital bloods not good and want minitor abcess so doesn't burst while they get his infection under control and swelling reduces then it will be surgery 

What a start to this year 

I had call from gp swab shows infection so I got to have bloods done which nurse will do on Fri with dressing change 

Feel like all I'm doing is updating with bad news don't want to bore you all
