Lol I think it's like that in the main city, but in the neighbourhoods people do talk to each other. I hate the escalators to the tube, they are so long and people running past.1
-
Morning @Sandy_123 how are you doing today?1
-
The last time we were down there @Sandy_123 there was a tube strike and people were coming to blows at bus stops.1
-
Good morning @durhamjaide2001 and @66Mustang.1
-
Good morning @Teigr I must of just missed you as I was on the forum earlier.1
-
Good morning everyone had a nice lie in today
I once did a spiderman cake for toby first proper birthday party @Teigr I'm no expert but used to like having a go but can't see well enough now
@Sandy_123 enjoy your visit and baby cuddles
I used to work in London and travel down every Mon morning I don't like all the hustle and bustle too many people in one place . Did enjoy going to the shows tho as we could get discount tickets on the day from work1 -
@Teigr
Oh I really hope you aren’t up till that time doing it.
@durhamjaide2001

-
Can finally move after a flare up from Hades
After another ESA overpayment, thought it best to ring them . Again.
1 1/2 hours on hold ... Her, " Is your appointee there " ... Me " Aaaaargh. Noooo "
That's time I'm not getting back. Have a great Friday everyone1 -
Thanks @durhamjaide2001
Im glad it’s a Housing Association flat I’m in, my ceiling and top off my walls started getting all dark marks on it, it turned out the tenant before me, had placed old bits off wood everywhere in the loft. Its stopped the air circulating, and caused the marks everywhere.
Iv now found out today there’s something wrong with the pipes up there it’s going to be a bigger job for them.
Only bonus is they sd after it’s all been sorted, they will get my living room and bedroom painted for me.
Sorry for long post.1 -
No problem oh dear so will it be the housing company be paying for everything for you. Or do you have to pay for it as I hope you don't as it's not your fault.1
-
@durhamjaide2001
It will be the housing association, as it was the last tenant that laid wood when he shouldn’t have.
Also something wrong with the pipes.❤️1 -
Spiderman isn't that popular these days @janer1967,it's all computer games for the boys and unicorns for the girls.1
-
When we moved into this house @Lou67 we went into the attic and found that a previous owner had dragged all of their old carpets up there and tried to use them as insulation.
They were all foam backed and they'd been up there so long the foam had disintegrated,the mess was unbelievable.1 -
@Teigr
Oh unbelievable I can only imagine the mess. It’s crazy what some people do.
I have never been up my loft that wouldn’t be a pretty watching me try lol.
Didn’t even cross my mind to ask my son to check, because it is a Housing Association home.
Iv learned now if I ever move I will get my son to check.1 -
Mr Teigr looked like he'd been down a coal mine for a week by the time he'd dragged all the carpets through what was then a tiny opening in the bathroom ceiling.
Yeah,you never know what's up there but it's always best to have a look.1 -
Everyone's busy with work men and doing stuff
I've been told to pack an over night bag, I really would like to stay home they've rented a 4 bed house for their stay in the next town. They like their comforts
Did a mad dash getting washing in as it started spitting, all clear again now but it's 80%dry, so not going back out1 -
I was in Sainsbury's just now and we were in an area where the only reason to go down would be to look at a certain thing. If you simply want to pass through without looking, the logical route is a different, shorter route along the side.
Regardless of this an old man decided to come through so I moved out of the way for him, no "thank you" then he decided he wanted to go back round, this meant I was blocking him again, and he pushed me 2 times with his trolley!
No "sorry" and he did it twice so he obviously did it on purpose.
People say that lots of young people are rude, and I agree, but why are old people seen as perfect? Old people can be just as bad!1 -
Yes they can @66Mustang I agree1
-
@Sandy_123 personally I think anyone can be rude just takes a certain type of person, age doesn't come into it
I hope you enjoy your overnight trip with family1
