    My grandaughter is very ill I'm getting ready as I might have to take her to the hospital as mom had an op yesterday

    Good afternoon, everyone.

    I am back from my big shopping expedition. Yes did get a treat.

    Much better weather here today @Teigr. I am down south. Our dog managed to get out for a walk and a play with the ball in the field. I think for him 15 mins ball throwing is like 1 hour of walking in terms of calories burnt so that is good. :)

    Mildly annoyed at the moment as just decanted a bottle of port (my treat) and managed to lose quite a bit of it. I know, first world problems and all that, especially compared to the problems others are having.

    Just got back from  sons house she's not well as all, but sipping fluids and sleeping daughter in law wants to take her in when my son back from work. See what they say. I did offer to take her. Sooner she gets seen the better

    We stopped at a pub on way home and had pub grub as you do. Cheeky coffee n cake.
    What a day its been and I havnt done any house work yet.

    Sounds good to me!

    We used to have a challenge to find the best value breakfast.

    We found one for £4.49 and it was eat as much as you like. I loaded up with bacon because that was most expensive to buy in the shops so I felt I was getting more for my money.

    I don't think you'd find breakfast for £4.49 any more these days.

    I nearly fainted in shock last week ... my sister and her husband paid £5 for 2 small ramekins of baked beans to go with their breakfasts that were £12.50 each

    @WelshBlue That's mad! I'd consider the beans an integral part of the breakfast!! What's next steak and chips but comes without steak unless you pay extra :D

    Good afternoon all

    Im
    Tired 
    Last night at midnight I was woken up by shouting, I looked out the window and saw people in balaclavas and baseball bats attacking a house opposite me, they were smashing all their window s. Was pretty scary 
    Was so loud my cats we're scared 
    I've no idea who they were or why it happened 
    Left me shaking all. Night
