This is the first time we've had any trouble with this provider @Lou67 and we've been with them for three years.

Hi all, been a lovely day down here all-day, looks like we got this weather for another week at least. Anyone notice how cold it was first thing this morning, left me windows open all last night woke 6 am shivering soon warmed up by 12 noon . Would love to know why the bus back home this afternoon had the heating on ? Bus was crazy hot every one sweating red from the heat. Bus driver just gave a mmmm shrugging his shoulders......

True @Lou67,our last provider was absolute rubbish.

It would cut out forty odd times a day.

We're not having a very good day here.

Mr Teig'rs fitting the new blinds in the kitchen and he made a mess of the measurements so one of them is too big.

I hate measuring things like that @teigr it's confusing

One of the windows is wider at the bottom(the joys of an older house)and Mr Teigr couldn't be bothered to get the stepladder to measure the width at the top.

That's awkward if the window is different sizes it self

It's almost two inches wider at the bottom, you don't really notice it because it's a white frame and the kitchen tiles are white, but it looked like some sort of optical illusion when we had multi coloured tiles.

I've noticed alot of people only put the blind in the glass part of the window, was thinking about that myself.
    Would that help your window

I don't know how they are fixed but they just use the glass part instead of the whole window, they must be fitted somehow, like 1 below

I think they're sort of wedged in,I was looking at them last week oddly enough.

We have sash windows at the front of the house and the top panes are stained glass,I wanted something that would fit the lower panes so that the stained glass wouldn't be hidden.

They're only suitable for UPVC windows though, something to do with the rubber seal around the glass.

Ahh ok, I like the wooden blinds I'm looking into them. Definitely don't cover stained glass they are beautiful
