    We have wooden shutters on the windows in our son's room,I quite fancied them for the front windows but I don't like the idea of having loads of holes drilled in them.

    Oh shutters look lovely the house over the road have them. Really nice.

    We tried loads of different blinds and curtains in our son's room but one of the windows is massive and nothing looked right.

    The shutters do look nice but they're horribly overpriced.

    They were advertised as being half price when we bought ours @Sandy_123 but there was a lot of small print and the ones I chose weren't included in the offer.

    I ordered the kitchen blinds at special 'coronation prices'.

    They've gone up now but Mr Teigr's paying for the replacement and he's been kind enough to take proper measurements this time. :)

    Haha I bet he's over the moon with that.  That reminds me , I'm still waiting for my curtain pole on the other window to go up, will prod my son about it
