    It is! We have to be careful though that's it's genuine and not just- as it's been coined- Rainbow Capitalism. Nivea will go rainbow this month but they don't support the community with their actions for example. But that's a discussion for a separate thread.
    Yes I often wonder the same with things like black history month or women's month etc.

    My thoughts though are that even if it is half-hearted, it still raises awareness/acceptance because Joe Average will think "oh look my favourite brand is celebrating it so it must be a good cause". I agree it's a discussion for somewhere else though. :)

    And good morning everyone!!

    Tidying my room today, bought a new cordless vacuum and it's a game changer. Yesterday I got tickets to see Hozier on my 30th birthday in a couple weeks. I'll be seeing him again in July. I got to see Harry Styles a couple weeks ago and he was brilliant. I was among 40,000 people but it felt a lot smaller because everyone sang Bohemian Rhapsody at the start and it was a real moment of connection. What I'm saying is this is shaping up to be a really fantastic summer :D anxiety over uni be damned. Impossible to feel sad in the middle of that.

    Sounds like the good times have already started and lots more to come. @JoOfVengerberg

    I can relate to anxiety being interspersed among the good times. I agree it's a shame, but if it wasn't for the issues we have, I believe we would find other things to get anxious over. Just have to enjoy the good times and deal with the anxiety as best as possible. :smiley:

    It is my 30th this year too, am wondering what to do for it... :thinking:

    All done in the shower; 30 mins till we set off to Granny's house for a BBQ :) I hope everyone is in a good mood there.

    @Lou67 thanks!! I am thinking of maybe a flying lesson, or a break away somewhere.

    I've also been generously offered to choose a "big present" .. I was offered an Apple Watch but I want it to be something I will keep forever so not sure. I am thinking maybe a glass decanter.

    Im round the back to it’s roasting. And guess what I forgot I gave my daughter my left over sun cream. Her and her family are going on holiday In 2 weeks, if this weather keeps up I will need to buy more.
