    I was going to take the dog for a walk but as soon as I put my socks on it started raining again.

    I hope we don't hear any nonsense about hosepipe bans next month.

    Thank @66Mustang I'm also glad I sorted it but an expense I could have done without. You're right about the prices going up £76.98 for a battery and it's only a small car but it gives me a bit of freedom if you know what I mean the car is getting on a bit but still in good condition and I would be lost without it.

    But that's how things are these days prices have shot up for everything.

    @C_J that's not a bad price at all, a family member had to get a new battery recently and it was about £130, also for a small car. Well done :)

    @66Mustang I hope so too I do try to look after the car but you can never tell. The battery was just one of those unexpected things that often happen when you least expect it. Unfortunately gone are the days when I use to work on the cars myself. 

    Anyway let's see what happens positive though and fingers crossed.
