    Yes they were striking and he had to wait for them to go back to work. But it's now the weekend and bnk holiday at that,

    Morning all I hope yous have a lovely day.
    I had a busy day yesterday so didn’t manage on, had 2 off my granddaughters for a few hours and once they went away I felt drained so it was a bath and early night for me.

    Morning all. Not been on for a while so I’m sorry about that. Court shay was adjourned and he was given yet another chance and I lost a friend to bowl cancer ( within 3 weeks of diagnosis). So rather than come on and be moany I kept to myself. Hope everyone is well and happy. I’ve been out with the dogs and washed downstairs carpets then fell asleep for an hour. Another cuppa is due. Love being home. Working is exhausting but it pays. Love a bank holiday. Enjoy everyone x

    Thanks @Lou67  he's still, there but at least he's told me now what hospital. It's about 30 miles away, only him. Having the grandkids is tiring 

    Bank holiday I might be visiting my son or just staying in, trying to shake this cold off b4 it goes to a chest infection

    @punchnJudy64 nice to see you and sorry for your loss. Don't ever worry about coming on and "being moany" because that is one of the reasons the forum exists, just my opinion but I'm sure others will say the same.

    @Sandy_123 I hope you sort your cold out soon and if you do go out on bank holiday hope you have a good time.

    As for me and bank holiday Monday no plans as of yet so I may just take a me day.

    @mustang@cj thank you very much.  Such a kind and thoughtful site. Think apart from work. Just hid away. I’ve decided to take some time off in September, not had a days holiday since Xmas. Think I earned a few chill days.

    I'm bored really with my son in hospital there's no one at home. I've told the grandkids to keep away so not to catch my cold, as they go away on 28th 
    So just been tidying around really

    Aww I’m so sorry about the loss off your friend such a sad time for you, and sorry the court case got put back again, it’s so unfair you are put on hold again I hope it’s not to long till you can trying put that part off your life behind you.
    Enjoy your day off tomorrow I’m up in Scotland so it’s not a bank holiday here.

    I'm sorry about your friend,my aunt only lasted five weeks after her bowel cancer diagnosis.

    @Lou67 @Teigr thank you ladies. Life throws curve ball’s doesn’t it. The fact the courts keep knocking us bk has been hard. And expensive!. Still I’ve nothing really to moan about. I have fa, a home and my dogs along with work. Sometimes life just gets a little difficult. Xx

    Not for the bank holiday @Adrian_Scope however I'm going to Calvert Trust Keilder in Northumberland then I'm going to Bendrigg Trust in the Lake District on Saturday until the following week
