Come on then @janer1967 let's go, stop off at coffee shop lol.
Yes there nice soaps.
I'm catching taxi to dentist, i don't Want stress of busses not turning up or late. Which usually happens when you've got to be some where. I really don't like going but got to be done0 -
Just wish I could find one to go to that won't cost me 60 quid to get there and back on top of cost for dentist0
-
@janer1967 I’m sure you know already but I believe you can claim for travel expenses for medical treatment if you are on a low income or benefits.
I used to do it when I went to a clinic 50 miles away. I only got 20p a mile because I used my own car which just about paid for the petrol and nothing else but if I wanted I could have used a taxi and claimed for that which would have been well over £100.0 -
@66Mustang thanks for that I'm not sure it covers dental appts but will have a look around to see
I can't get in as a nhs patient either only private and the cost of what I need doing will be around 3k1 -
Hi all just come in from the garden for my third rest ha ha - flipin heck @janer1967 you going for in plants or something, you hear about it on the news with problems people have and now i am hearing it first hand
Hope all went well for you @Sandy_123.
Yep he was a good boy @Tori_Scope except he didn't want what his Mom had sent him with for his tea, so i had to share my gammon ha ha xx0 -
Just got back, had a good walk into town after my appointment, through church grounds down the hill. Popped in asda for 2 things, had a quick look in primark, treated my self to 2 vegatarian sausage rolls. Which I'm munching now with a coffee.
Got to go back at 10 tomorrow to dentist he's taking a crown out. Apparantly it's infection under it, I didn't even know.0 -
Good job it won't be raining (well not here) tomorrow @Sandy_123 ha ha xx0
-
@SueHeath my teeth ars all falling out some come our by root others have broken and I get lots ulcers infections pain etc
I want them all out and dentures it's about £100 per tooth extraction then around £700 for dentures if you go private against max cost of £280 on NHS which I wouldn't have to pay anyway
I'm on waiting list for NHS but it's at least 12 months it's a nightmare also finding an accessible surgery0 -
Its a lovely day today warm and suns out. I had a sit on the bench in church grounds, usually it's very isolated, but lots of community workers there today doing the grounds.0
-
I know @janer1967 it's a shame you haven't got an hospital, with dental unit attached it's got to be a nightmare xx0
-
Sorry to hear about the teeth situation @janer1967 must be really annoying
I found the travel cost form and had a look at look and it says you need to be going for NHS treatment to claim for travel costs sadly but maybe something to look into when you reach the front of the queue
