    Hi everyone I hope yous are having a nice day.
    I went a walk earlier and nipped in to see my mum for an hr.
    Then went to buy an evening times newspaper, as they had published class photos off all the new primary 1s my granddaughter was in it 🥰

    Oh I hope your bread turns out I would love to be able to make my own bread. I have never tried maybe I should try.

    Don't bother @Lou67 I tried twice both went in the bin lol. Yet I can make nan bread really good.  Glad y9u had a good time at your moms, nice to see kiddies in the paper.

    We have a bread maker that makes the bread for you and also bakes it as well

    You literally just put the ingredients in and a loaf of bread comes out lol

    It was £90 but a really good investment, a loaf costs about £0.50 to make and it's not comparable to a 50p loaf, it is as good as a £2.50 loaf from the bakery, so we have saved loads of money

    Oh yeah, you cant beat freshly baked bread!  Even better if you've made your own butter, but that's a lot more of a faff to do.

    I was cold this morning @Sandy_123, not something I say often, I like the cooler weather.

    It was so cold I closed the window from fully open to half open!

    Half closing your window?! Steady on, @66Mustang :D! It's so interesting how everyone feels temperature differently. I used to know someone who would wear sandals all year round, even in the snow. They just never felt the cold.

    I'm definitely feeling chilly morning, got my hot water bottle on the go. Stay cosy @Sandy_123!

    @Rosie_Scope that reminds me of the postmen/women ... it seems to be mandatory for them to wear shorts all year round!!!!

    Oh, definitely! Those posties have knees of steel! But then I suppose if you're constantly moving around maybe you don't feel so cold.
