That sounds lovely, I sometimes toast whole spices before I use them but half the time I accidentally burn them and have to start over again 🤣

They only need about 30 seconds @Jimm_Scope just to get the flavour picture of my efforts lol

I know but I always leave them on a little too long and the burn so fast 😋
They do taste lovely toasted though.

the soup is nice celery, carrots, leeks, garlic bit of chilly for heat and turmeric as its good for you all blended and topped with black pepper
