This morning started out, decided to treat myself, went to a well known chain of garden centres,I've used for many years, to treat myself, and have breakfast, normally, you can choose whatever you want, maybe for example, 2 sausages, 3 bacon,2 hash browns, a grilled tomato, and a slice of bread, eggs, beans, black pudding, mushrooms, etc. As much or as little as you like, but got there today, and 4 waitresses, and only 1 customer!
I dont do eggs or black pudding, or beans! Normally, there's lots of pensioners, and young families,as older people and kids eat less, and its not expensive, but now can only order set menu breakfasts, full everything! No wonder there were was only one customer! You can't even order just a bacon or sausage sandwich ,full breakfast only!I asked the waitress, she said it's because of...........yes,you guessed,.....covid! I said to her,as nice as i possibly could,as it's not their fault, its a company decision, but, that maybe it's actually because a full breakfast costs more, than smaller meals,so it's actually about profits, but the restaurant will actually lose customers, and money, especially if paying wages to more employees, than there are customers! , I even checked on their website about any restrictions, before going, but nothing on the site about change of menu! So no breakfast! And no profit to the company!
So much for "back to normal " way of life! Lol
A very late brunch when i got back home! Lol
Back on topic!
