Hi, my name is 974450149! Can I get an allowance for a hoist to get my scooter into my car?

I receive motability car allowance and drive a VW polo. I am able to get anywhere in my car but cannot walk comfortably when I get there. I have recently bought a small lightweight folding scooter but I need a hoist to get it into my car. Is it possible to get an allowance for one?

@974450149 have you spoke to motability? Although I suspect the answer might be no, you could also search the internet to see if there are any grants avaliable.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Means tested grant I just looked into it but household income means I’d pay it back
