Hello everyone! I live in sunny Scarborough (I can't see how to put an alt text on the above photo: Scarborough light house, seen across a sandy beach with a few people (bundled up against the cold), against a cloudy sky, icey pale blue, dusk coming on).
Having some hassels at the moment (access to work, rare disease that GP can't deal with any not allowed to refer me to the UK specialist ...) But trying to stay positive!
What else? I was supposed to be on the Tenacious Antigua to Bermuda right now (anyone else here JST crew?), love tech, cats, genealogy, British Overseas Territories.
Best wishes,
Pat

Hi @muuranker and welcome to the community! A lovely photo I'm sorry to hear you've been having some issues with your GP, have they given you a reason as to why they won't refer you to a specialist?0

Welcome to the community @muuranker Adding alt text on the community can be a little fiddly, so thank you for adding the image description! It's a great photo.
It sounds as though you have lots of interests. Do you have a cat at the moment?
I'm also sorry to hear that you're having some problems with getting referred to a specialist. Please do give us some more information if you feel comfortable doing so.
What kind of hassles are you having with Access to Work?0 -
Hello all!
Yes, foster two cats for the Cinnamon Trust,.
Thank you for your compliment on my photo.
No, no reason give on why no referral.
Access to work issue: I explained o have sight loss and four conditions affecting my hands. Gave all the information including the charity commission page for my emoyer. They searched companies House and found the trading company, wholly ownedby the charity, and insisted I must pay under that company (where I am a director (volunteer)). Denied because I didn't supply the trading company accounts (I pointed out they on the company's house website, and they were not looking at my employer).
Why don't people listen to what I tell them?0
