Hi, 3 months ago I suffered PE with multiple clots both lungs along with Pleural effusion. Since this time I can waken up with my breathing laboured this can go on for days and then out of the blue I waken and my breathing is good. The days it’s bad I cannot get washed and dressing is a struggle. On these days I don’t go out because I am also lightheaded. My question is: should I apply for PIP or would I definitely not qualify. Thanks for your help..

Read through this and assess how many points you might score, then decide.

The assessment is about how you are on the majority of days.

Hi @Trezi sorry to read about your lungs, nothing worse then breathing difficulties. Are the Drs doing anything about your clots? I suffer with my lungs from birth, so can understand the difficulties you may have. Look at the link posted above about pip.0
