Call the Midwife is always feel-good telly, but that doesn't stop it being a bit of a tear-jerker at times, does it?0 -
It's a great mix of real issues faced in that time . The music and the type of life and challenges people faced . As well as a great community spirit

I agree with you @janer1967. This programme is wonderfully clever. It has you in floods of tears one minute and in fits of laughter the next. Not to mention the social history. Well written, well acted, a very good all rounder.0
