I've only seen repeats on Drama but enjoyed it, in fact I was playing music from Call the Midwife on Alexa today.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

Call the Midwife is always feel-good telly, but that doesn't stop it being a bit of a tear-jerker at times, does it? -
It's a great mix of real issues faced in that time . The music and the type of life and challenges people faced . As well as a great community spirit
Some great acting too -
I agree with you @janer1967. This programme is wonderfully clever. It has you in floods of tears one minute and in fits of laughter the next. Not to mention the social history. Well written, well acted, a very good all rounder.
