Can dwp take money from pip to clear my tax credit debt?

Hi i have a question i owe tax creidts and they take some of my uc each month if i get awarded pip will dwp take the back payment from pip to clear my tax credit debt.

Hi there 

It can happen but ad you already have a payment plan in place it shouldn't and if they suggest this you can challenge it 

But it may be in your interest to just get it cleared
