Hi I have recently just given my notice in at work, and also have had an assessment with UC and have now been placed in the support group. Element. I have had access to work out and also from head office out,but unfortunately after a year and 4 months the company I work for in retail, cannot support my mobility needs in the work place.
I have Fibromyalgia and also sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and go to work on my mobility scooter.
I am not to sure how to put it on my journal on UC to tell them that my health is affecting my work and i am unable stand for periods of time. I am taking 12 HR release morphine based medication.
Some advise would be really appreciated.

Hi there
You don't really need to tell uc as you have already declared your medical condition and been assessed by them and put in support group
Ic you report a worsening condition it will start a new process
A I would do 7s put a note in your journal stating you have now had to give up work
They may want to see your put
I would call welfare rights and ask their advice before doing anything -
Hello @pammy1969
I'm sorry you've had to put your notice in at work It sounds like it was the best thing to do given your impairments and how they were affecting you, and I hope you feel some physical benefit already.
Getting independent advice about your situation would be a good step, and I'd recommend you visit the Advice Local website to get specialised help close to where you live. Just enter your postcode, then select Welfare benefits from the drop down box and a list of organisations will be brought up on the next page.
Just to add: I've tweaked the title of your thread and moved it to our Universal Credit category so it's more visible to others who might otherwise have missed it. Take care and good luck.Online Community Co-ordinator

All you need to do is report a change to your employment. You don't need to go into detail or reference your health. As you have already been found to have LCWRA you are not expected to work or look for work so this will not affect your claim.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Thankyou for all your comments,
I have now left my employment on the 14th June.,I only put something on my journal of UC, and that was acceptable.
Thankyou Cher for your help and link for me to look at.
