Is there a gadget I can use to clip my walking sticks to my wheelchair?

Hi All. I'm new here so please excuse me if I'm in the wrong place. ?
After a long wait and a bit of tooing and froing I am finally getting the correct wheelchair delivered next week.
Now after having a bit of a play on the - wrong - one they sent me I have realised that I don't know what to do with my sticks while I am seated.
Is their a nifty gadget I need to clip them to my side? My son has suggested making a quiver type bag for them?
What do you all do ?

Hello and welcome to the community @TheresaD :) It's great to have you with us. You didn't post in the wrong place as such, but I've moved your discussion over to our category for discussions relating to disability aids, equipment and technology as that felt a little more relevant. I've also tweaked the title of your post to reflect your specific question.

I had a look online and there appear to be a few options available. You can buy clips that attach to your wheelchair that should hold the stick in place. See below for an example:

plastic device with a hole for the walking stick and a clip that attaches onto the wheelchair

There did also appear to be little bags that you can attach to the back of your wheelchair. I'm sure that you could make your own version too.

small quiver style bag attached to the back of a wheelchair

Some other people suggested perhaps buying some Velcro to create a strap, or purchasing a foldable stick and keeping that in a bag on the back of the wheelchair.

I'm sure there could be other options too, and this isn't something I've got personal experience of, so hopefully someone with first hand experience will be able to help :)

Helping hand grabbers come with clips that hold the grabber to the stick.  I wonder if they'd be the correct size for any bars on your chair?

I'm not sure a rear mounted quiver would work unless you've got a lot of upper body strength and flexibility, but a side mounted one could do!

I bought a bag for my two crutches with a sewn in pocket on each side that fits over the back of my wheelchair . There are also folding crutches available .
