Hi there
Have you been sent uc50 forms to complete?
You should after sending in fit notes and then have a work capability assessment to see if you are found fit for work
If you are found unfit and get awarded lcwra there is an additional uc element -
No i did try that route before but my osteoarthritis in my hands has got worse and i got diagnosed with SS
-
In what way did that prevent you from going down the work capability assessment route @xjr64? I'm sorry that your osteoarthritis has worsened.
Are you currently in receipt of any other benefits, such as PIP?
Do you feel as though you'd be able to start working again if you had reasonable adjustments (ACAS) in the workplace? -
UC only , a job were I don't use my hands alot

Hi @xjr64
Are you still submitting fit notes? Did you ever receive a UC50 form? You should have received this if you've been submitting fit notes for more than 29 days with no gaps. If you haven't then I'd advise to leave a note on your journal informing your work coach/case manager.
Are you concerned that your osteoarthritis would impact your ability to fill in the form? If so, you can access free local help by visiting the Advice Local website. If you enter your postcode, then select Welfare benefits from the drop down box, a list of organisations close by will appear on the next screen.
