had the occupational .therapist around few weeks ago and she sayes the house not suit abile for adapitions and recommend we go on the council waiting list which we done,
had the vist to check house is in good order, but told they have no house suitable, and that we should get social services involved to get extension built so rang the social services thy said the occupational .therapist deals with that

Since there is no suitable council housing then you need to speak to the OT again and tell her what the council said.
You will need to apply for a DFG.....disabled facilities grant.
It will cost around 30k so there are likely to be different hoops to jump through.
