I can't fill out my PIP renewal by myself, and am worried about speaking on the phone. Any advice?

Hi, have just joined having been diagnosed with c f s and am also bipolar.
i have just received my pip renewel but can’t fill out on my own and citizens advice can’t help for a few weeks .
i am so worried and wondered if I can get help from any other organisation.
also, I was told it has to be done over the phone and am concerned about this too.
any advice would be great.
thankyou .

Hi there Welcome to the community
You currently get 3 months to return the forms so you will have time for Cab to help
The other option is welfare rights
As for the phone assessment It is the same as f2f just over the phone
F2f have started up again but mainly for those who couldn't get a decision with a phone assessment
Let us know how you get on0 -
Hi @suejc - & welcome to this online community. As Jane suggests, you could see if there's anyone local to you that may be able to help such as a Welfare Rights Office. You can search if you go to Advicelocal's website. Here's a link: https://advicelocal.uk/

Welcome to the community from me too @suejc Thanks for joining.
Just to add to what the others have said- is there anything in particular that's worrying you about having your assessment over the phone?

The time it will take and feeling pressured to answer quickly.
am so tired and unable to think clearly0 -
The length of the assessment can vary @suejc. Try and give the fullest answers you can, and avoid answering 'yes' or 'no' wherever possible. You can take time answering if you need, so just explain that you're struggling to think clearly or are feeling tired, and that you need a bit of time to answer.
Some people find that having notes written down helps them to answer the questions. Maybe you could make some notes on each descriptor, using your original application as a guide?0
