No. The 'relevant period' is determined by when you reported your health condition.

That would be the 3rd of September 2020.

I can't relate starting your Universal Credit claim on 3rd of the month to payments on 2nd of the month and 16th of the month. If you started the claim on the 3rd I would expect payment to be on 9th and 23rd so I'm still not clear when your monthly assessment period is.

My main universal credit claim started on the 26th March 2020. I lived in Northern Ireland then so they paid twice a month rather than once a month.

My first Universal Credit monthly payment was 2nd May 2020 then the second monthly payment was 16th May 2020.

I then started my health condition claim (limited capability for work) on the 3rd September 2020, provided first fit note 4th September 2020.

Does that make a bit more sense?

     Thanks.

So your UC payment period is 26th to 25th of the month. Your ‘normal’ pay day would be 2nd month but you get half of your payment delayed to 16th.

You reported your health condition on 4th September so the three periods that make up the ‘relevant period’ run from 26th September to 25th December. You will be entitled to LCWRA element for the December to January period payable on 2nd and 16th of February and thereafter.

Okay thanks very much for your help.

Also it it worth requesting a copy of the assessment report? I know I have been awarded LCWRA, but the award letter is very vague.

I would like to have it for my own personal records, how do I request this?

     Thanks.

Not in my opinion. Others will take a different view.

Okay, do you mean the assessors when you say others? Thanks

No, I mean others on the forum. My opinion is that as you have been awarded LCWRA there is nothing to be gained from obtaining your report. I know some people like to see everything.
