Hi I informed dwp of a 'change in circumstances' regarding my condition and what i am now struggling with on a daily basis. I called to inform the on the 8th March I recieved the form on the 15th then sent the form off on the 16th March i was then told they had recived it 5th April. I then contacted capita on the 27th May i managed to book my own assesment for 1st June i can only say how lovely and understanding the assessor was on the telephone she sensed how anxious i was and told me to 'try and relax as there is no rush' the call was for about 1 hour although she did call 15mins late but i assume i was probably her first call as it was an 8am call. i recieved a text message on Friday 4th June to DWP had recieved my report. i called and requested a copy which i was told is with case worker but it will be sent out and be with me in the next 7 days. What i need to ask is as it is a 'change of circumstance' will i be notified by telephone that my award has changed as i see most cases on here recieve a phonecall or will i just recive a decision in the post? thank you ?

It is not usual to receive a phone call, decisions are communicated by letter.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
