Question about fit notes

So my fit note runs out sunday and i got an alert in my journal saying its gonna expire, yet my doctors appointment isnt until thursday, will they get funny about this as theres still gonna be 3 days left? bit confused by all this.

ask GP for new note to run on from the existing one.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
