Hiya everyone.

Last year just as the pandemic hit I got a VW Caddy from Motability, it`s spent most of its time on the drive ever since. I have open Insurance with the idea that friends and family would drive it, though there seems to be a reluctance now.
I have Osteogenesis and use a manual indoors and a leccy out.
I don`t have carers, I`m independent at home but may need help when out as we all know the world outside our front doors isn`t always accessible. The trouble is that because I don`t fall into the care category I can`t get help getting out in my vehicle. I would love to know if anyone else has had this dilemma, and did anyone solve it?

  Shazz.

    Hi there

A difficult one if you get no use of the car I would give it back and use the income for taxis

Maybe try and get a pa or local volunteer who would come and take you out

You could  hire a driver to take you out in your car when you need to go out age concern and places like that may have information on this or as someone else has already said employ a PA
