Knee protection

Hi, my partner suffers from an illness similar to MS and has muscle weakness in his legs and numbness in his feet. He is therefore very unsteady on his feet and when he walks outside, if he trips he will always fall on his knees. I know we can purchase heavy knee pads but I was wondering if there was a product available for the disabled that is thinner and would offer a level of protection for his knees. Thanks in advance for any help

Hello @acgodwin64
Welcome to the community, how are you?
I am not sure of this myself but I hope that others will be able to advise, have you spoken with your partner's GP about the situation? Perhaps they would be able to advise.
